Role
Monitor and review incoming complaints to Signet’s ethics hotline (T.I.P.S. Line). Distribute new complaints to appropriate investigating party and receive completed Investigation Summary Reports. Utilize internal systems to track and report on hotline activity, as well as drafting quarterly Workplace Investigations reports and other ad hoc reports. Provide regular follow-up with investigating parties at designated intervals. Provide administrative support to Internal Investigations team as directed. Given the nature of the position, the T.I.P.S Line Specialist is expected to observe the highest standards of ethical and professional conduct and to set an example for other employees. They must also demonstrate Signet’s Core Values in the performance of all job duties, and help ensure an ethics culture within the organization.
Responsibilities
- Utilize internal systems to:
- Track and report on T.I.P.S. Line activity
- Analyze T.I.P.S. Line and Internal Investigations team data to recognize and identify trends
- Develop and draft regular Board-level Workplace Investigations Report, banner-level reports, and as ad hoc reports, in partnership with Manager and others
- Maintain historical information related to Internal Investigations team data
- Monitor and manage incoming complaints to Signet’s ethics hotline (“T.I.P.S. Line”), distributing reports to appropriate investigating parties and update internal systems. Provide follow-up with investigating parties, track closed cases, and maintain confidentiality.
- Conduct root cause analyses on substantiated and partially substantiated ethics investigations. Develop, draft, and publish quarterly Root Cause Analysis Report to share with department leadership and HR leadership.
- Provide administrative support to Internal Investigations team as directed. Provide support to the Manager on special projects as needed.
- Ensure that the provided service is consistent with the Company’s Core Values. Provide prompt courteous service to all individuals involved in T.I.P.S. Line Reports.
- Perform additional duties and projects as assigned
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
- Experience monitoring and tracking processes using internal case management systems and/or Excel. Strong data analytics skills
- 1+ years of experience
- Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Office (particularly Excel) skills, experience with case management systems.
- Critical thinking and analysis skills.
- Ability to utilize critical thinking and analysis to exercise independent judgement.
- Superior written and oral communication skills and attention to detail are required.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks of competing priorities.
