Compliance Coordinator

Berger Transfer & Storage, Inc is seeking a SAFETY COORDINATOR to join our team in Roseville, Minnesota! Our Safety Coordinator works closely with our drivers tracking their fuel and mileage as well as reviewing their driver logs. They are responsible for our Fuel tax reporting, as well as setting up permits and taxes to be paid.

Berger Transfer & Storage, Inc is seeking a COMPLIANCE COORDINATOR to join our team in Roseville, Minnesota! Our Safety Coordinator works closely with our drivers tracking their fuel and mileage as well as reviewing their driver logs. They are responsible for our Fuel tax reporting, as well as setting up permits and taxes to be paid.

Responsibilities for our Safety Coordinator include but are not limited to:

• Fuel Tax reporting for IFTA (International Fuel Tax Agreement);
• Compliance analysis and tracking for Driver Fuel and Mileage regulations;
• Set up permits and taxes to be paid;
• Review Driver’s logs;
• Other tasks as assigned by manager

The successful candidate for this position will share the following knowledge, skills and abilities:

• Please note this is NOT a remote opportunity
• High School Diploma or Equivalent (preferred);
• Previous Data Entry experience is required;
• Working knowledge of DVS licensing programs is preferred;
• Experience with fuel taxes, Highway Use Taxes and other state transportation related taxes is preferred;
• Capable of working with secure and/or private information;
• Ability to multi-task within a fast-paced environment, handle high volume workload while meeting deadlines;
• Strong oral communication skills especially when communicating on the phone;
• Organized self-starter who has strong decision making skills
