GuildCare, our innovative community-based Adult Day Health Care Program providing services to adults with health and vision needs is seeking an energetic and autonomous individual interested in part-time employment working 21 hours per week as an Outreach Specialist for their Manhattan location.
This individual will be responsible for promoting the GuildCare program, seeking out Medicaid-eligible clients in need of Adult Day Health Care services through visits and presentations at community centers, subsidized housing areas, healthcare agencies, etc. and obtaining appropriate referrals.
Qualifications:
- An associate degree in human services preferred,
- Experience in outreach or marketing
- Must be familiar with local community services and demonstrate excellent customer service and computer skills.
- Bi-lingual English Spanish a plus
- Healthcare experience preferred.
