Job Description
We are seeking a part-time Community Marketing Specialist to join our team! You will be responsible for establishing and nurturing relationships with apartments, businesses, and organizations in the West Loop area to increase the practice's patients and brand.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct lobby events from 4pm-7pm at area apartments, introducing residents to our practice and providing marketing promotions to sign up new patient appointments.
- Establish, nurture relationships with area businesses and organizations, holding events as indicated to establish the practice as the dental office of choice.
- Attend chamber of commerce meetings, representing the practice and growing our community footprint.
- Seek out and attend community events where there is opportunity to gain new patients--5ks, farmer's markets, etc.
- Develop and implement innovative marketing campaigns.
- Perform analysis of market strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats
- Run and manage social media for the practice: Facebook, Instagram, Google Reviews
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in marketing or other related fields
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Strong organizational skills
- Familiarity with quantitative and qualitative data collection
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
- Ability to work well in teams
General
- The position will have much autonomy, support and be part-time.
- The position will be only required to occasionally work from the office for event preparations, weekly meetings, and office team building.
- It is expected that the Marketing Specialist will conduct/attend at least two marketing events per week.
- Tracking and monthly reporting is required on the following: events held/attended, organizations and contacts worked with, number of new patients who made an appointment at these events, number of new patients who came in for an appointment from these events.
- Compensation is primarily commission, based on the number of new patients brought into the practice. There is a base based on number of events conducted.
- We have had much success with this as an office but do not have the staff to take advantage of all the opportunities out there.
