Community Manager

We are seeking a Community Manager to join our team at our 576 unit community in Kent, WA.

Who You Are:

Our Community Managers are the face of our community and represent the company in a way that no other employee can. As a Community Manager, you are the face of our community and the leader of our residents. You are responsible for maintaining excellent resident relations, providing exceptional service, and ensuring that all employees are well-trained on proper service delivery. You will work closely with the leasing agent to ensure that all resident needs are met and that the community is running smoothly. The goal is to create a memorable experience for every resident while providing them with an exceptional quality of life experience.

Essential Functions:

  • Ensure that all employees in all departments follow all company policies, procedures, and regulations.
  • Maintain confidentiality of all information regarding residents, employees, and their property.
  • Respond promptly to any questions or concerns of residents or employees.
  • Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal laws and regulations regarding the community.
  • Maintain accurate records of resident accounts by following department policy and procedures.
  • Participate in monthly rotations among department heads, maintenance, HR, and accounting staff as directed by the director of operations management.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management including but not limited to scheduling maintenance maintenance contractors for vacant units and managing maintenance requests from residents for unit upgrades, repairs, or changes.

Position Requirements:

  • Must be able to work a flexible schedule including nights weekends holidays based on resident needs. Must be available to work weekends based on business needs. Must be able to lift up to 75 pounds. Must be able to work with or without an interruption. Must have reliable transportation. Must have valid driver’s license. Must have reliable transportation. Must be able to communicate effectively in person or via phone call back about issues with residents or property managers. Must be able to work without a break for 8 hours per shift.
