Job Description
Rural Resources Community Action is looking for a Case Manager. This position is full- time (40 hours per week) with benefits and located at our Newport, WA office. As a Case Manager, you will provide information, assistance and comprehensive case management services to individuals or families. This position will assess needs, develop and monitor implementation of service plans, make appropriate referrals and serves as a customer advocate with other service providers. Service areas could include youth/family/parenting/elder services, employment/training, emergency/transitional housing, and health/nutrition.
A Case Manager will need knowledge of related community resources and the laws and regulations specific to the area of service, the dynamics of aging, crisis intervention and counseling principles and practices. The qualities we are looking for include the ability to prepare reports, correspondence, and documentation, comprehend complex documents and concepts, analyzing and evaluating customers’ needs and development and implementation of corrective action(s) to resolve issues, and establish and maintain effective working relationships with agency staff, gatekeepers, and general public.
Salary & Benefit information
The hiring range for this role is $21.65-$23.42 per hour. The full salary range of $21.65-36.06 per hour represents the low and high end of the total salary range for this position. Actual salaries will vary depending on factors including but not limited to experience & qualifications. After the successful completion of our six-month training period, you will receive a 4% step increase. As a regular employee, you may receive an additional 4% step increase on your annual anniversary with RRCA. Requirements:To apply for this position, you would need a Bachelor’s degree in social or health sciences and two to three years related experience.
Must be able to access and egress non-ADA facilities and homes.
Note: Depending on the labor pool, work experience and the specific program, this requirement may receive an exemption, waiving the need for a Bachelor’s degree.
