We are seeking high quality candidates to join our Team as Community Managers. Community Managers are the primary interface to a portfolio of Homeowner or Condominium Association Clients, overseeing the operation of their non-profit corporation. The Community Manager oversees all activities within their Clients, and provides compelling consulting, counsel and project execution to the Board of Directors for a myriad of topics including financial, maintenance, governance, and risk management. Key to the role is ensuring timely and meaningful expertise and project execution to Board and owner expectations.
Responsibilities
Community Management Services:
- Provide Board advice and consultation per Association governing documents, industry standards, Washington state laws, and public policy.
- Serve as the point of contact for the community. Communicate with membership with a maximum of one-business day response time.
- Perform regular site walkthroughs and report necessary actions based on observations.
- Create and keep current an annual planned maintenance program.
- Provide Project Administration efforts by requesting and evaluating proposals from vendors, reviewing contracts, scheduling work, and reporting status to the Board.
- Request insurance proposals, ensuring proper coverage. Provide administrative services in support of insurance claims.
- Prepare for and attend regularly scheduled Board and Annual meetings.
Financial Management Services:
- Prepare the annual budget and implement with the Board through membership approval.
- Review and approve monthly financial reports created by the Client Accounting team.
- Review and approve all invoices for payment to proper GL accounts
Experience
- 2-years’ experience in a community management role.
- CMCA certification or college degree is desired.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Multi-tasking abilities.
