About Hospice of Wichita Falls
For over 36 years, Hospice of Wichita Falls has been the only non-profit community-based hospice in the area, providing services in 12 North Texas counties. Our wonderful nursing staff meets our patients and families where they are, in private homes, nursing facilities, assisted living facilities, and our freestanding inpatient care center. It is our goal to provide premier care while honoring and upholding the patient's wishes whenever possible.

Your life as a Community Liaison:
Your role is very important to our patients and the organization. Hospice of Wichita Falls offers exceptional service to all patients and families in Wichita, Archer, Clay, Jack, Montague, Hardeman, Wilbarger, Baylor, Foard, Knox, Haskell, and Young Counties regardless of their financial circumstances. We rely on you to build a comprehensive community presence as well as develop and facilitate a series of public awareness events. We will rely on your experience to collaborate with other departments on community events to promote Hospice of Wichita Falls and expand our reach. Our schedules are generally 8:00 am to 5:00 pm Monday thru Friday; however, we will have events that occur outside these hours.
Job Qualifications
- Knowledge of the Wichita Falls community and surrounding area is required.
- Established relationships with community leaders, business owners, and other influential individuals and groups in Wichita Falls are required.
- Highly developed collaboration, communication, interpersonal, and creative skills are required.
- Public Speaking and presentation skills and experience are required.
- Associate or bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.
- 3 to 5 years of documented Marketing/Community Management experience preferred.
- Knowledge of Hospice of Wichita Falls, Inc. (HOWF), its services preferred.
- A broad understanding of community development strategies and experience working in diverse communities is preferred.
- Advanced social media and technology skills are required. Facebook, LinkedIn, Microsoft Office software, and presentation equipment experience preferred.
