Job description

First Entertainment Credit Union is looking for a Community Engagement Specialist who will be responsible for our social media presence as well as in-person entertainment Community Engagement efforts. The role will be tasked with managing the creation and implementation of various components of our Community Engagement strategy and will track the metrics of our social media campaigns, such as brand mentions, follower growth, audience growth rate, reach, share of voice, sentiment, and conversions.
 
The ideal candidate will stay abreast of current and emerging social media trends to suggest and implement new social media tactics and campaigns to increase brand awareness. The Community Engagement Specialist will also attend industry and company-sponsored events to capture content.
 
This is a full-time, hybrid opportunity reporting to the Community Engagement Manager and is based in Hollywood, CA. The minimum and maximum salary range for this position is $33.36 to $50.03 in California. The target starting good-faith hourly rate is between $33.36 and $41.70.
 
Responsibilities

*Establish an annual social media roadmap and associated calendar, then create and schedule weekly social media posts accordingly to encourage interactions with current and potential members, as well as SEGs.
*Fully utilize the functionality available in Sprout Social to improve efficiencies and grow engagement to meet or exceed yearly goals.
*Manage all member-facing social media outlets and create content, graphics, posts, live streams, videos, and other new media tactics to drive member and followers' engagement and conversion via social media.
*Implement paid and organic social media campaigns aligned with the marketing calendar, track, and optimize campaign results.
*Engage in social listening to timely respond, engage, communicate, interact, and reach out to members. Assist with creating a monthly report capturing the "voice of the member".
*Support business development and financial wellness efforts through events that reach new audiences and increase awareness of the First Entertainment brand.
*Perform other duties as assigned by the leadership team.

Requirements
 
*Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Communications, Digital Media, or related field.
* Event planning and/or business development experience a plus.
*2+ years of Social Media Marketing experience.
*An in-depth understanding of social media platforms.
*Graphic Design, video production and editing skills preferred.
*Reliable transportation and ability to travel to sponsored events.
*Excellent communication skills.
