The Community Engagement Specialist is responsible for coordinating and assisting in planning, developing, implementing, and tracking a Community Engagement plan to expand TrueCare presence. The position is also responsible for working with community partners and other external sources to identify community programs, which meet Community Engagement objectives, and assist in project management and implementation.
Some Key Duties Include:
- Developing annual community program budgets and operating plan for each program
- Collaborating with the community to determine community health needs and actively representing TrueCare at community meetings and events to build relationships and seek opportunities to introduce the company to community partners.
- Identifying partnerships that align with the Strategic plan to enhance TrueCare's presence within the community.
- Seek out and recommend new community programs to improve organizational services and enhance the patient experience.
- Coordinate the development of appropriate Community Engagement
- Experience facilitating community conversation and discourse
- Some data entry and administrative support
Qualifications Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in social services, health education, public health or other health related field, or equivalent work experience
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Two (2) years’ experience in healthcare related field
- One (1) year of supervisory or lead experience
- One (1) year experience coordinating a community-based program
- Working knowledge of public and private social services agencies, community resources, including Federal and State programs
Qualifications Desired:
- Certified Health Education Specialist (CHES) Credential
- Bilingual in English and Spanish
- Experience in patient and community health education

If you are hired at TrueCare, your final base salary (within the pay range), will be determined based on factors such as education, knowledge, skills, and experience. In addition to those factors, we believe in the importance of pay equity and consider the internal equity of our current team members when determining any final offer. Please keep in mind that the range mentioned above is the full base salary range for the role. Hiring at the maximum of the range would not be typical in order to allow for future and continued salary growth. We also offer generous benefits and retirement plans.
