The Program Manager, Communities will be responsible for the program management of Virtuoso Community programs. The Product Manager, Communities has daily communication with the Program Manager to ensure alignment on and execution of program deliverables, goals, and initiatives.
Virtuoso’s program management leaders work closely with product managers and department leaders to drive product goals forward and maintain internal program performance. Deeply knowledgeable about our industry and customers, the product management team bridges the technical and business worlds to develop products that our customers love.
Essential duties and responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Implement the program management of Virtuoso Communities serving Virtuoso’s member agencies, travel advisors, and preferred partners.
- Align with manager on outcomes and KPIs to measure the product’s success and meet long-term business objectives.
- Co-manage Communities Coordinator implementing methods for optimal collaboration and increased efficiencies.
- Create an annual program schedule outlining key activities, goals, and opportunities.
- Manage and facilitate execution of quarterly newsletters and webinars in collaboration with Communities Coordinator.
- Liaise with external speakers on professional development offerings (i.e. Sales Training, Mentor Series).
- Liaise with Network Communications and Product Marketing on newsletter deployment and recruitment campaigns.
- Liaise with Marketing on consumer emails, digital editorial, and other marketing initiatives.
- Co-manage execution of Community events including Globetrotting at Virtuoso Travel Week.
- Liaise with Operations on registration forms, contacts, reports, and more in Zoho.
- Manage designated inboxes, creating trust and rapport with Virtuoso advisors and partners.
- Maintain Virtuoso.com Information Pages.
- Maintain tracking sheets and dashboard in Smartsheet.
- Liaise with Partnerships team on sales of Business Growth product offerings and program management processes.
- Collaborate with cross-functional internal stakeholders (marketing, training, technology, sales, business intelligence, and operations) and external agencies and vendors to complete initiatives on time. Responsible for clearly articulating responsibilities, activities, and deadlines to teams.
- Other responsibilities to support Business Growth products as assigned.
Educational and Skills Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- 3+ years of Program Management or Project Management experience
- Demonstrated track record of success in cross-departmental collaboration and communication
- Demonstrated ability to manage sophisticated projects and competing priorities simultaneously
- Ability to work independently
- Proven focus on proactivity vs. reactivity
- Superior analytical and quantitative skills; experience using data and metrics to test theories, confirm assumptions, and measure success
- Proven ability to identify, analyze, and solve ambiguous problems with an extreme attention to detail

Travel Requirements:
- Travel is rarely required for this position.
- Any travel will be entirely domestic.

- Internal: Key job contacts are primarily with clerical and technical personnel and managers outside of the job’s immediate work unit/department.
- External: Regular contact with partners, members, and external vendors.
