Position Purpose and Objectives
Operates telephones; relays messages to telephone stations; assists members and guests in making reservations; greet members and guests; provides secretarial and administrative services; maintain general correspondences; perform general office tasks.
Essential Position Functions and Responsibilities
· Answers telephones, transfers calls to proper extensions
· Takes dining and special event reservations
· Assist members and guests with questions and directions
· Perform general office work such as filing and operating copy and fax machines
· Develop and maintain a current and accurate filing system
· Perform basic bookkeeping, filing, and clerical duties
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required
· Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
· Phone etiquette
· Ability to multi-task between telephones, members and employee’s
· Ability to provide effective written and verbal instructions, as well as the ability to carry out detailed written or verbal instructions independently
· Effective verbal and listening communications skills
Assisting Membership and Communications Director
- Assists in designing and distributing attractive communications to the membership. Communications to include flyers, posters, website, emails, app, newsletters, menus.
- Assists in formatting website content.
- Work with Membership and Communications Director to achieve the approved business/marketing plans. Adjusts plans as necessary to optimize goals and objectives of the Department.
- Assists in creating highly polished club collaterals, annual club calendar of events and club flyers/brochures.
- Strong customer service skills assisting with inquiries and troubleshooting with the Club app, website and email communications.

Working Condition
· Sits for long periods of time in front of a computer
· May require at times to work additional hours and/or weekends
· Moderate physical work, and performing such activities as bending, stooping, kneeling,
· Crouching, climbing, reaching, standing, walking, pushing, pulling, lifting and grasping
Education and Training
· High School
· Continuous education required through club software, internet, etc.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
