Job Description
This unique role integrates the skills of an Internal Communications Specialist with an Experiential Event Coordinator. The successful candidate will be tasked with crafting and executing compelling experiential events and activations for both internal and external audiences, while also managing internal communications within the organization. This position demands a blend of creativity, robust project management skills, and a profound understanding of both experiential marketing and effective internal communication strategies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Event Planning and Execution: Conceptualize, plan, and execute experiential events and activations for all stores and corporate events. Manage all logistical aspects, including venue selection, vendor coordination, permits, and equipment setup.
- Internal and External Client Collaboration: Collaborate with team to understand brand goals, objectives, messaging, and employee engagement strategies. Present event concepts and proposals, integrating feedback to align with both external brand and internal communication objectives.
- Budget Management: Develop and manage event budgets, ensuring that projects stay within financial constraints.
- Vendor and Partner Coordination: Source, negotiate with, and manage vendors, contractors, and partners for event services and internal communication tools. Oversee vendor contracts and agreements.
- Creative Development and Internal Communication Content: Contribute innovative ideas and creative concepts to enhance event experiences. Collaborate with designers and creatives to develop event branding and collateral.
- Marketing, Promotion, and Internal Engagement: Develop and implement strategies to promote events and reach target audience and employees internally. Utilize various channels, including social media, email marketing, and PR, to generate buzz and attendance.
- On-Site Management and Internal Events Coordination: Lead on-site event management for external events and coordinate internal events, ensuring smooth execution and troubleshooting of any issues. Coordinate event staff, volunteers, and brand ambassadors.
- Data Analysis, Reporting, and Feedback: Collect and analyze data on event effectiveness and attendee engagement. Create post-event reports with insights and recommendations for future improvements.
- Compliance, Safety, and Crisis Communication: Ensure events and communications comply with relevant regulations, permits, and safety standards. Develop contingency plans for emergencies or unexpected scenarios in both external events and internal communication realms.
As the Communication and Experiential Event Coordinator, you will play a pivotal role in creating memorable brand experiences that resonate deeply with audiences. This position requires a unique mix of creativity, project management expertise, and client collaboration to deliver successful experiential events that align with client objectives and enhance brand engagement.
Requirements:- Bachelor's degree in Event Management, Marketing, Communications, or related field (preferred).
- Proven experience in event coordination, with a focus on experiential marketing.
- Strong project management skills, including budgeting and time management.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
