We’re seeking a future team member for the role of Commercialization Market Analystto join our Engineering Management & Strategy, Strategy Analytics & Execution team. This role is located in Pittsburgh, PA – HYBRID.
In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:
- Conduct market research and analysis, using various tools and methods, surveys, observational studies, industry forecasts, SWOT analyses, etc.
- Present market research and analysis findings and outcomes to stakeholders and teams, using clear and compelling visualizations and reports
- Provide recommendations for innovation projects, such as new product ideas, new markets segments, new business models, etc.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams within Engineering to support the development and launch of innovative products and solutions
To be successful in this role, we’re seeking the following:
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, engineering or a related discipline, or equivalent work experience required.
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a Market Analyst, innovation analyst, or experience working with direct-to-consumer products in a research, insights, or similar role, experience in the securities or financial services industry is a plus.
- Fluent in Product Data Management, using analytical, and reporting & visualization systems like Excel, Tableau, Looker, or PowerBI.
- Ability to forecast market trends and researching emerging technologies and opportunities for innovation that add value to products.
- Possess strong analytical skills and enjoy collecting data on consumers, competitors, and market conditions as you provide insights and recommendations for stakeholders to make informed decisions on licensing and prices.
- Enthusiastic about measuring the effectiveness of marketing programs and strategies.
- Effective communicator with people skills for collaborating with cross functional teams and influencing decision making processes.
