Media Analyst
Industry: Telecommunications
Location: Philadelphia, PA (REMOTE- must be able to work EST hours)
Duration: 8-month contract
Pay rate: $19-$22/hr
The Media Analyst will be an active participant on a cross-functional team and be responsible for collecting, processing, analyzing, and reporting data related to our group's advertising business. They will produce both recurring and ad-hoc reports with the purpose of measuring progress towards goals, campaign performance, and health of our advertising ecosystem. They will utilize data to identify new opportunities and areas to increase performance and monetization.
Roles Responsibilities:
- Create and distribute a daily dashboard detailing the status of our advertising ecosystem
- Provide weekly, monthly, and annual reports as well as one-off reports and analyses to support the business as necessary._
- Conduct a monthly reconciliation of partner payments.
- Conduct regular audits to ensure data integrity and troubleshoot discrepancies between disparate reporting systems.
- Monitor and troubleshoot active advertising campaigns and perform regular analysis of ad placements to maximize revenue yield.
- Work with partners to integrate data from their advertising and analytics platforms.
- Identify areas to improve efficiency through automation and centralization of reporting resources and provide input into the development of automated monitoring systems
- Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Requirements:
- Working knowledge of HTML including industry standards as they apply to the tracking of digital advertising metrics.
- Expert user of Excel.
- Experience with planning tools such as Strata or Nielsen
- Experience with various operational reporting and data visualization tools including Omniture and Tableau.
- Experience working with large complex data sets, manipulations, and analysis, and possess an understanding of analytical methodologies for evaluating performance data.
- Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent
- 0-2 years of related experience
