Use your skills to retain and cultivate business relationships, by providing impeccable service to all internal and external customers. You will be an integral part of the parts department. Your main objectives will be increasing accuracy in parts identification and reducing returns and delays, and increasing the efficiency of sales order and purchase order processing.
- Answer phones and greet customers as they enter the parts showroom.
- Keeps current on new products and product updates.
- Assist walk-in customers in selecting required parts, suggest companion requirements, offer specials, and ensure that the customer is exposed to our full product line.
- Refer to parts catalogs and equipment manuals to identify the correct parts needed for the specific situation.
- Communicate effectively with both internal and external customers to sell company parts over the phone and counter and support our shop as needed.
- Locate availability of parts if they are not in stock and follow up on back-ordered parts.
- Create parts orders in our computer system and keep orderly records of all invoices and special-order parts.
- Resolves customer complaints by investigating problems; developing solutions; recommending changes in products by evaluating results & competitive developments.
- Aggressively expand parts sales and meet and/or exceed sales, margin and profitability targets.
- Research and call on new and existing customers to set-up and maintain customer accounts by recording and updating customer specific information.
- Stock and clean the showroom.
