Loan Servicing Specialist - Commercial

Summary:

CLMG Corp, the commercial Loan Servicing subsidiary of Beal Bank, is actively seeking a Loan Servicing Specialist to join the team as a Senior Operations Administrator. We have a unique and evolving loan portfolio, and are looking for a Servicing Specialist who is a quick learner and thrives on details.

The Senior Operations Administrator is responsible for the administration and the facilitation of the daily processing required for the Commercial Loan Portfolio. This includes cash processing, customer service, investor and/or participation reporting, account reconciliation, escrow services, collateral management, Loan Committee Profile processing and onboarding of new loans.

This is an on-site position based at our Plano, TX headquarters.

Essential Job Duties & Responsibilities (Include but are not limited to):

• Ability to read and interpret loan documents, tax statements and insurance policies
• Prepare and disburse payments for taxes and insurance accurately and timely
• Prepare and complete an annual escrow analysis for all escrowed loans
• Monitor all collateral used to secure debt serviced by CLMG for risks associated with delinquent taxes and insurance exposure, including hazard and flood
• Review and audit loans for accurate collateral records and system coding
• Maintain documentation of collateral corrections and audits
• Perform daily Loan Servicing maintenance and documents receipt of requests and all correspondence
• Receive and process payments in accordance with policy and procedure
• Accurately book all Loan Modifications, REO Transfer Memos, Judgments, Settlements, Defaulted Loans and Charge Off transactions on the Loan Servicing system per the approved Loan Committee Profiles and QC of processing package
• Review and approve terms, balances and dates on proposed modifications prior to closing
• Responsible for preparing and calculating billings on special loans that are unable to be billed systematically due to payment terms.
• Perform an audit of all variable rate loan changes to confirm the Loan Servicing system complies with the loan documents
• Onboarding of new loans (originations and acquisitions) to the core Loan Servicing system and QC review of all loans boarded
• Strong analytical skills for researching and reconciling loan or account history
• Effectively communicates with borrowers, Portfolio Managers and third-party vendors via email, telephone or in person
• Works closely with other team members to resolve issues or disputes timely
• Completes daily and/or monthly Participant reporting and remittances in accordance with policy and procedure
• Completes daily loan exception reports and monitors all transactions
• The position may include other duties as directed by the manager

Job Requirements:

• Must have a minimum of 5-7 years Loan Servicing experience preferably in commercial Loan Servicing
• High School diploma required; Bachelor’s degree preferred
• Ability to read and interpret complex loan documentation
• In depth knowledge of Loan Servicing best business practices
• Working knowledge of FIS or a similar loan-servicing platform
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
• Strong organizational skills, detail oriented, good analytical and follow-up skills, high degree of efficiency, knowledge of Microsoft Office applications and a strong overall technical aptitude
