Farm and Home Hardware is looking for Stock and Yard people to join our existing top-notch team. Established in 1960, we have over 60 years of experience helping our friends and neighbors complete their projects. Our Stock and Yard people are an integral part of our customer service team. We are looking for dedicated, driven individuals interested in part time or full-time hours. Shifts vary and while we would like to have open availability, we also understand that many qualified candidates have restrictions that limit the availability. With that we are willing to discuss this opportunity and see if it will work for both Farm and Home and you in your current situation. We have a variety of tasks that are completed by our High School, College, and Adults looking for a full-time career.

College stock positions:

We offer flexible full and part time positions for College Students and take pride in helping these students through life while they are attending post grad education. We also offer some business internships to work with your school in preparing you for the career path you have selected. While with us, you will gain confidence in yourself and learn life lessons that will stick with you for years. Most of the previous High School lessons will apply here as well as some additional tasks due to your age and maturity.

*Learn how to operate store equipment. Tow motors, tractors, lawn mowers, pallet jacks

*Delivering products to our customers homes

Successful candidates must possess:

Ability to manage multiple projects and tasks with a high attention to detail

Ability to reach overhead, bend, squat, kneel and carry products to perform and cover all customer support duties.

Ability to help customers load their supplies, must be able to lift 40lbs-60lbs +

Ability to successfully pass a background check and drug screening

Responsibilities for our Stock and Yard Team:

Loading merchandise for customers

Assembling products for sale in the store

Stocking and general cleaning of our inside and outside sales areas

Operating our Tow Motors and payloader (if 18 or older) Training will be provided.

Delivering products to our customers home or business.

Screen and window repair

You will work inside and out Come to work ready for inclement weather.

We will train and give you all the tools needed to succeed in this position, we need you to bring the positive collaborative attitude
