Job Description
We are looking for a Front Desk Receptionist for a highly recognized and sought-after MedSpa in Des Moines, IA, Coachlight Clinic & Spa. This clinic, led by one the top-ranked Plastic Surgeon Providers in the United States, specializes in Botox Cosmetic, Juvéderm and SkinMedica, CoolSculpting, laser and anti-aging treatments by Sciton, Alastin Skincare, and much more!
The Front Desk Receptionist acts as the initial point of contact and representative of the practice to all visitors and phone inquiries, always giving the best impression.
Schedule
- Monday-Thursday - 8:45 am - 6 pm
- Fridays - 8:45 am - 5 pm
Responsibilities
- Warmly greet and assist clients with check-in, billing and check-out process
- Receive incoming telephone calls, practicing proper phone etiquette
- Explain specific treatments and advise clients in choosing the best services for them based on their needs and interests
- Accurately book, change and cancel appointments
- Conduct tours of the facility for new clients when requested by management
- Make reminder phone calls to clients about their appointments and conduct outbound follow up calls
- Maintain retail inventory in retail area
- Maintain orderliness and cleanliness of retail and reception area
- Be ready to assist any staff member or client who needs help
- Promote positive client relations for all clients by providing great customer service
- Maintains proper office opening and closing procedures
Qualifications:
- Knowledge of medical terminology, cosmetic procedures, and skincare products
- 2 years experience in a medical office or medical spa setting
- Experience answering phones in a medical office environment
- Excellent communication, organizational, and management skills
- Must have proficient computer and typing skills
