Lead the development, implementation, and optimization of CNC programs for new and existing products. Ensure the effective use of equipment and personnel in producing quality products at minimum costs. Collaborate with cross functional teams to achieve delivery targets and release new products into the Broomfield manufacturing facility.
- Create CNC programs for new and legacy parts.
- Collaborate with machinists on program updates to improve setups and efficiencies.
- Assist in developing the skills of less experienced programmers.
- Provide recommendations on equipment upgrades based on programming knowledge.
- Provide programming estimates to assist shop prioritization and planning.
- Manage MasterCAM and post processor software updates.
- Maintain and update the insert/tooling lists for vendor managed inventory system.
What you will bring to the team, along with your passion for improvement, is:
- 10 years machine shop experience preferred
- 5-7 years of related CNC programming experience preferred
- 1-3 years programming 5+ axis machines preferred
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Prototype machining – insert and tool holding selection.
- Experience with MasterCAM software or equivalent
- Experience using through coolant carbide tooling.
- Working knowledge of ERP/MRP and quality control software (Oracle, Agile).

- CNC Equipment:
- 3-5 axis mills with pallet changer (Okuma/DMG)
- 3-4 axis lathes with bar feeders (Okuma/NLX/Hurco)
- 9 axis mill-turn (Doosan)

In compliance with the Colorado Equal Pay for Equal Work Act (EPEWA), Hourly Pay Range: $27.00 - $51.00 per hour. This range is a good faith estimate of the salary range for this position, based on potential employee qualifications, operational needs and other considerations permitted by law.
Bonus: This position is eligible for a discretionary annual bonus, in an amount to be determined by MKS [or applicable].
