Cnc Machinist/Programmer

We are looking for a CNC Programmer with the following characteristics

• Strong emotional intelligence

• Ability to measure/set tools and set machine offsets
• Ability to build and follow programmers set-up instructions
• Ability to program simple parts via G-code
• Ability to perform final QC inspection
• Ability to plan the production of and set up complex parts on both CNC mills and lathes.
• Ability to program complex parts on 3 axis mill and up to 6 axis, live tooling lathes.

MUST HAVE THE FOLLOWING****

• Minimum 2 years experience programming both lathes and mills using either Mastercam or Esprit.
• Extensive experience cutting Inconel, Titanium and/or other comparably difficult material.
• Ability to post programs that require minimal to no adjustment or tweaking.

The job consists of the following responsibilities:

• Collaborate with the Machine Shop Manager (MSM) for quoting and job planning
• Program toolpaths for custom machining jobs
• Design custom fixturing for machining jobs
• Provide detailed, intelligent design instructions to the Machinist Setup/Operator for fixture-
• building and quality control actions
• Perform FAI and final inspection operations using a variety of measuring instruments
• Be available for questions, comments, and concerns of the Machinist Setup/Operator(s)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $70,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
