Position Summary:

The primary responsibility of the ERP – Sales Support Specialist is to provide MFCP Employee’s with Prophet 21 (our current ERP system) and P21Connect (our current CRM system) support. This position is vital to the efficiencies of the company’s ability to support the customer we serve across all markets. Attain intimate working knowledge of both software systems and the application to our business and support the internal customers. Direct interface with the suppliers of the ERP and CRM is essential to maintain.

Primary Duties:

  • Provide support for assigned Prophet 21 and P21 Connect help desk support cases
  • Support Prophet 21 system administration as needed
  • Support help desk calls and escalate calls as required
  • Support P21 Connect Administration
  • Work with VP of Sales and Branch Operations and P21 Connect to fill-in identified functionality gaps with CRM requirements
  • Launch and administer MFCP Touches Program
  • Develop screen updates, DynaChange rules, and other ERP UI enhancements to support effective and efficient user experience
  • Follow up on outstanding requests and ensure timely resolution
  • Manage our open Prophet 21 and P21 Connect help desk tickets and report their status
  • Develop SQL Queries and SQL Reports as requested
  • Create and submit POS reports for vendors
  • Provide users with updates that will allow for keystroke improvements and short cuts.
  • Manage and Track Epicor problem tickets.
  • Attend Epicor Annual User Meeting and develop relationships with other Epicor user companies.
  • Support Commission Calculations and report generation as needed
  • Support Strategic Pricing Group as necessary
  • Manage assigned monthly reporting task
  • Participate on the Data Migration Team as required

Basic Requirements:

  • College graduate or related 4-year degree with one-year related experience and/or training.
  • Individual must complete training courses as identified and required by the company to ensure they have proper product knowledge.
  • Ability to develop a working knowledge of the industries we serve.
  • At least 2 years customer service experience in a manufacturing or distribution environment.
  • Individual must have ability to apply common sense reasoning to carry out instructions furnished in written and oral form and the ability to handle challenges that evolve in the daily processing of duties.
  • Excellent written & oral communication and strong relationship building skills required.
  • Detail oriented with solid organizational skills and the ability to prioritize and multi-task in a fast-paced work environment.
  • An advanced knowledge of computers and day-to-day business software including Microsoft Office products.
  • Must be a good listener with above average reasoning ability and make minimal mistakes. Must be a good learner whom can assimilate product knowledge and skills as they are presented.
  • Maintain regular and punctual attendance.
  • As MFCP is a small employer and employees work in a collaborative team environment, employee must be physically present in the office to perform his/her job functions.
  • Must be able to work with a wide variety of people and personalities.

Physical Demands and Work Environment:

Work is generally completed in an office environment. Frequent sitting, computer work and phone use are required, with occasional walking, standing, bending and lifting up to 20 pounds. The physical demands and work environment reflected are representative of those encountered by employees when performing the essential job functions.
