Job Title: Full Stack Programmer III (Python)
Duration: 12 mos. + potential extension(s) and/or conversion
Location: Denver, CO, New York, NY , Houston, TX , Los Angeles, CA , and San Diego, CA (Onsite Hybrid)
Job Responsibilities:
• Develop an understanding of Mephisto and the features that are available, utilizing the documentation, examples, and exploring the codebase.
• Engage with project teams in initial meetings to develop an understanding of the task at hand.
• Work with core team members to develop a strategy for implementing a task for project teams.
• Build out prototypes and early pilot implementations for crowdsourcing tasks, including the frontend components (in React) and the data management and run scripts (in Python).
• Execute initial pilots of your prototype with crowdworkers, create data pipelines to analyze results, and iterate on the task to improve result quality.
• Evaluate team requests for additional functionality or for extra tooling and either provide support where possible or escalate when necessary.
• When no projects require support, work with the core team to refactor and integrate solutions from specific tasks back into the Mephisto framework.
• Provide documentation and testing for added feature functionality.
