Description
Sawtooth Conceptsis looking to hire aCNC Operator.If hired, you would be responsible to assemble, finish, and install custom cabinetry and will be working for Sawtooth Concepts producing cabinetry and millwork for residential and commercial projects.

What You Will Do:
+ Set up and operate CNC cutting, dowel, and edge band machinery
+ Utilize hand and power tools
+ Operate forklift
+ Perform quality checks on machined materials
+ Monitor machines and detect malfunctions
+ Replace and adjust tooling at the machine
+ Clean areas on a regular basis
+ Assemble cabinet parts with glue, nails, or other fasteners and fit, and clamp parts and subassemblies together to form units
+ Trim component parts of joints to ensure snug fit using hand tools such as planes, chisels, or wood files
+ Sand and scrape surfaces and joints to prepare components for finishing
+ Install hardware such as hinges, catches, and drawer pulls
+ Restock parts and hardware, unload, sort, and put away materials in the shop
+ Deliver and install cabinet and millwork
+ Clean and maintain shop work areas, including machinery and tools, to ensure a safe working environment
+ Perform all other assigned tasks and requirements as needed
We're Looking For:
+ High School diploma or equivalent
+ Technical degree, certificate, or equivalent experience
+ Cabinetmaking experience in a production environment or other closely related production woodworking experience
+ Must have a strong working knowledge of all tools and equipment operated in a cabinet shop, including but not limited to: forklift, power tools, hand tools, table saw, router, drill, sander, planer, shaper, panel saw, CNC router, edge bander, and other specialty cabinet fabrication equipment
+ Knowledge of commercial and residential construction principles, documents, techniques, and procedures
+ Ability to effectively communicate information
+ Demonstrated skills in organizing and evaluating information
+ Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, and analytical skills
+ Strong attention to detail
+ Ability to read and understand blueprints, architectural plans, and specifications
+ Must be a highly motivated problem solver capable of developing solutions and seeing them through to completion
+ Must have solid organizational skills, including multitasking and time-management
+ Ability to work well with a team
+ Strong mathematics skills
+ Ability to frequently stand, bend, squat, walk, reach above shoulder level, perform repetitive manual dexterity, have both arms and legs accessible and occasionally, sit, and crawl
+ Must be able to lift and move up to 70 lbs. safely throughout the facility repeatedly
+ Ability to ascend and descend stairs, step stools, ladders, scaffolding, platform ladders or mechanically elevated devices
