Job Title: CNC Machinist
Location: Largo, Florida
Schedule: 7am to 3:30pm Monday - Fridays
Pay: $20-25/hr depending on experience

Position Overview: As a CNC Machinist, you will play a crucial role in the production process by operating and maintaining CNC machines, wire EDM, and sinker EDM equipment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in CNC machining and EDM technologies, demonstrating expertise in producing high-quality components with precision and efficiency.
Responsibilities:
- Set up and operate CNC machines, wire EDM, and sinker EDM equipment.
- Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and specifications to understand product requirements.
- Program, edit, and troubleshoot CNC programs to ensure accurate and efficient machining processes.
- Monitor machine operations to detect malfunctions and adjust parameters as needed.
- Perform routine maintenance on CNC machines and EDM equipment to ensure optimal functionality.
- Inspect finished products for accuracy and quality, making necessary adjustments to meet specifications.
- Collaborate with engineering and production teams to optimize manufacturing processes.
- Adhere to safety guidelines and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a CNC Machinist with expertise in operating CNC machines, wire EDM, and sinker EDM equipment.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting engineering drawings, blueprints, and specifications.
- Strong programming skills for CNC machines, with the ability to troubleshoot and optimize programs.
- Knowledge of wire EDM and sinker EDM processes, including setup and operation.
- Familiarity with a variety of materials, including metals and plastics.
- Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
- Prior experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred.
Education and Certification:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Vocational training or certification in CNC machining is a plus.
