JOB DESCRIPTION
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in operating CNC Lathes and Mills, as well as knowledge of programming and troubleshooting. This position requires the ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings, as well as an understanding of the principles of precision measurement and quality control. The successful candidate will be able, to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Set up and operate CNC Lathes and Mills to produce parts according to specifications
- Perform regular maintenance and troubleshooting on CNC Lathes, Mills, and Tooling
- Perform quality checks on parts produced by CNC Lathes and Mills
- Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment
- Keep accurate records of production output
REQUIREMENTS
- Minimum of five (5) year’s experience with both Lathes and Mills
- Education: High School Diploma or equivalent required
- Must be highly experienced in measuring parts using a tape measure, calipers, micrometers and other precision measuring instruments
- Must be highly organized and have exceptional time management skills
- The working environment is in an industrial setting that is non-climate controlled
- Maintain physical condition appropriate to the performance of assigned duties and responsibilities which include walking, climbing, standing, bending, crouching, stooping, stretching, reaching, heavy lifting up to 50 lbs., or similar actives for extended periods of time
- All employees must complete pre-employment screening to include a drug test and a physical
