Cloud Operations Engineer, Junior
Key Role:
Manage, administer, support, and enhance cloud environments, ensuring continuous improvement and rapid problem resolution. Apply basic principles, theories, concepts, and industry knowledge. Solve routine problems of limited scope and complexity. Refer more complex issues to higher levels. Work under direct supervision.
Basic Qualifications:

• 1+ years of experience with system administration, network configuration, or application support in an operational environment
• Ability to gather, analyze, and quantify data and measurements
• Ability to learn and apply skills in managing and delivering cloud services
• Ability to develop detailed documentation that articulates solutions and perform demonstrations
• Ability to develop and utilize metrics to drive improvement efforts
• Ability to work with technical subject matter experts
• Ability to interact professionally with a diverse group of clients and staff
• Ability to obtain a security clearance
• Bachelor's degree

Additional Qualifications:

• Experience with Cloud environments, including AWS and Azure
• Experience with providing consulting and recommendations to clients, managers, and the workforce on the implementation of quality and process improvement initiatives
• Experience with supporting complex or large engineering projects
• Experience with implementing IT Service Management (ITSM) and IT Infrastructure Library(ITIL) best practices
• Experience with incident and change management ticketing systems
• Ability to work independently and within a cross-functional team in a dynamic environment
• Possession of excellent multitasking and organizational skills, including in a dynamic work environment
• Possession of excellent interpersonal skills
• Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills
• ITIL and Process Improvement Certifications

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $49,800.00 to $102,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees.
