Job Description:
This role will be responsible for cloud infrastructure support within this company's Hybrid Cloud environments. The role will work closely with architecture, security and engineering roles to support the delivery of application and infrastructure components for the cloud migration initiatives. This role is critical to support the delivery and operationalization of cloud services for all cloud based work streams. Key responsibilities include operations support for key platforms such as EMC - ECS, S3 and CommVault and will include monitoring day to day operations of Commvault based backups and operations of Storage devices.
Additional Job Details:
• Deep knowledge and working experience operating or implementing storage and backup solutions such as CommVault, NetApp, EMC Elastic Cloud Storage, etc.
• Solid understanding of operational recovery and disaster recovery techniques and strategies.
• Working knowledge and experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS) capabilities such as IAM, EC2, EBS, EFS, S3, Route 53, VPCs, CloudWatch, etc. (AWS Certifications a Plus)
• Solid understanding of storage communication protocols.
• Working experience with one or more of the other following technologies: Enterprise Virtualization: (vCenter, vSphere, vSAN, NSX) o Operating Systems: Windows 2012/2016 and Linux (Red Hat Enterprise Linux 6.x/7.x)
• Understanding of networking concepts, technologies and design/integration points. Must be familiar with software defined networking concepts.
• Strong working knowledge of quality assurance methodologies, testing techniques and approaches.
• Must be detail oriented, organized and have the ability to multi-task.
• Must be flexible with a “can do” attitude and have the ability to remain professional under high pressure situations.
