History
LIV Golf launched in 2022 as an eight-event 'Invitational Series.' 2023 saw the inaugural LIV Golf League host 14 events around the world, from Adelaide to Chicago, Andalucia to Singapore, as well as launch the game's first Team franchises, captained by some of golf's most decorated superstars.
The format, respecting the history and traditions of the game, has been optimized for modern day sports fans; 3-days, 54 holes, no cut, shotgun start, offering a faster pace-of play to drive engaging storylines and offer an immersive fan experience.
The events, each wholly owned and operated by LIV Golf and broadcast around the world to over 300million homes, deliver a family-friendly environment, festival-style atmosphere, evening concert entertainment and world-class competition; a combination that is unique to the world of golf.
In 2024, LIV Golf will further expand the reach of the League, splitting the schedule between some of the most iconic venues across Asia, Europe and the Middle East with decorated venues in the US. The full player pathway, created in partnership with the Asian Tour, also launches, with the game's first ever player Promotion and Relegation, and Player Transfer Window, as the holistic integration of LIV Golf is fully delivered.

Role Objective
LIV Golf is entering an exciting phase to deploy an enterprise level cloud and data solution underpinning the business, spanning Broadcast, Digital, Data & Analytics, and Security. Powering many "first in sport" initiatives we require a Program Director to drive several projects to enable innovation across the organisation.
Reporting to the VP Cloud & Data, this role will act as a bridge between strategy and execution, providing governance and overseeing the execution of projects across multiple business units and stakeholders to ensure that delivery is on budget, on time, and on spec.
Responsibilities
- Develop comprehensive strategy and timeline for development and implementation of projects included within the new partnership, aligning the plan with overall business objectives
- Define KPIs, OKRs, and other success metrics, tracking projects against those goals
- Provide project management governance and support (as needed) to the project team, validating project plans, timelines, and budgets
- Manage internal and external stakeholders to ensure alignment and effective communication
- Coordinate internal and external resourcing and vendor support to achieve laid-out timelines
- Manage Program budget
- Generate reports for senior management
- Manage daily operations to support and implement program objectives
- Identify and mitigate program risks, serving as escalation point for projects
- Track, record and compile program documentation
Experience
- 7 - 10 years of experience as a Program Director in technology, data/cloud experience is preferred
Required Skills
- Bachelor's degree preferred
- Strong business or technology-orientated understanding of cloud technologies and big data implementations
- Proficiency in Project Management and development methodology
- Strong business acumen
- Organized and detail-oriented
- Exceptional communication skills, both oral and written
- Excellent stakeholder management
