JOB SUMMARY
The Billing Specialist will establish and execute effective customer focused full-service billing processes. This is a high-profile role within the Company and will require daily interactions with customers and management. The main responsibilities are to process billable invoices to customers for all functions within the organization. A Billing Specialist will perform specialize billing by either function, customer, or product type to be designated by the Billing Manager.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS
Education: High School Diploma
Experience: 5+ year of professional billing experience
Skills: Strong attention to detail
Strong computer skills in spreadsheets (especially in Microsoft Excel)
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
Basic math skills
Ability to work in a team environment
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Requirements
RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Prepare and post invoices for services performed.
• When necessary; communicate with service technicians to validate/verify information on service tickets prior to posting.
• Review posted invoices for accuracy; ensuring time and materials are reasonable for the scope of services performed and are also in compliance with any contract held between WBS and customer.
• Assist the WBS accounts receivable department and billing manager with resolving any customer questions or disputes arising from a service invoice.
• Communicate effectively verbally and electronically with customer base.
• Maintain a positive and working relationship with the WBS contracts, accounts receivable, and customer support departments.
• Other duties as assigned that fulfill the mission and abide by the values to ensure the success of the company
ESSENTIAL PHYSICAL-MENTAL FUNCTIONS AND ENVIRONMENTAL CONDITIONS
• Able to communicate effectively verbally with customer base of internal and external customers.
• Able to properly lift up to 25 pounds occasionally, up to 5 pounds frequently. The highest point of any lift - overhead; the lowest point of any lift - the floor.
• Able to move up to 25 pounds occasionally, up to 5 pounds frequently.
• Able to sit continuously, up to 8 hours per day.
• Must be able to manipulate small objects with close eye-hand and arm-hand coordination for entire shift.
• Able to perform motor skills such as grasping, finger manipulation, pinching, bending, reaching out, twisting, turning, reaching up, wrist turning/torquing continuously for entire shift.
• Able to see objects closely, discriminate colors, perceive depth continuously.
• Able to remember multiple tasks/assignments given to self and others over long periods of time continuously.
