Clinical Therapist

At Maryhurst, our residential programs, community-based homes and our outpatient clinical programs all work to serve children in the greatest need. Our residential programs break the cycle of abuse using treatments that restore hope and successfully transition children to more permanent, community or family-based settings. Maryhurst's community and transitional living programs offer tools that prepare survivors of abuse and neglect for better, more hope-filled futures. And lastly, the team at Maryhurst Renewal partners with children, adults and families who are hurting to find the right combination of support, ultimately clearing barriers to success at home, at school, and in the community. Renewal provides one-on-one, group and family counseling in office, home or school-based settings.
Starting Salary: $50,000 per year
*If Independently Licensed starting salary, $56,000
100% clinical supervision costs covered, access to professional development opportunities (including many free CEU's)
Within Maryhurst, this position is called a Treatment Supervisor, but it is a Clinical Therapist position.

• The Treatment Supervisor is responsible for leading the treatment process of their client caseload.
• The TS facilitates and supervises the treatment planning process and completes all clinical documentation within stated timeframes.
• The Treatment Supervisor serves as a liaison and representative for child, family, and outside agencies.
• The TS provides direct services of weekly individual and group therapy as well as family therapy as indicated.

Requirements:
Master's degree in Social Work or related field. Minimum of 2 years post-graduate experience working with children and families preferred. If not licensed in their discipline, the therapist must have an associates standing (i.e. CSW, MFTA, LPCA, etc.) in their respective discipline and have an approved supervision contract with their respective state board. Ability to supervise the treatment process, use alternative forms of treatment, and experience facilitating teams. Must have strong clinical, organizational, assessment, assertiveness, documentation skills and experience with the DSM V
