Fastest Labs of SW Detroit is a small business in Taylor, MI. We are professional, agile and our goal is to Fastest Labs of SW Detroit is searching for qualified candidates to perform drug testing services with our clinical testing team. Fastest Labs provides Drug, Alcohol, and DNA testing to individuals as well as corporate clients. If you have the attitude and motivation to learn we will invest the time, and you can become a part of our franchise family and growing business. No medical experience is necessary, we provide all required testing certifications during orientation and training weeks, plus continuous on the job training and monitoring. Duties:
- Perform laboratory procedures following company, state and federal guidelines
- Follow established protocols and standard operating procedures for specimen handling, processing, and analysis
- Prepare and maintain laboratory equipment and supplies
- Collect and process specimens, ensuring proper labeling and documentation
- Perform quality control checks to ensure accuracy and reliability of test results
- Record and report test results accurately and in a timely manner
- Maintain a clean and organized work area -Data Entry, sending and filing reports with labs, MRO, and Employee Representatives as required.
- Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines -All other duties assigned within the scope of the position
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent. - Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen and a background check. - Able to pass all required training and earn certifications to become a testing collector - Must be open to flexible scheduling, which can be impacted by client testing demand.
- Previous experience working in a Clinical Laboratory or similar setting is preferred.
- Knowledge of laboratory techniques and procedures is preferred.
- Familiarity with laboratory equipment and instruments.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team. -Must have a valid Drivers License and reliable transportation for performing on site drug testing at client’s place of employment if necessary.
