Job Summary
***Must live in Pacific Standard Time Zone (PST) or Mountain Time Zone (MT)
The Clinical Application Specialist provides support, basic training and workflow management for the electronic medical record system(s), clinical, and business software. As our product champion, he/she is the “face to the customer”. Responsible for providing direct support to end users across all facilities via support tickets, phone calls, and web meetings. This role is the subject matter expert for the EMR system and is expected to follow all company policies and procedures when providing support.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Provides direct support for the EMR to facility product users via phone/web meetings and support tickets
- Complete new hire account set up and provide login information for the electronic medical record for all facilities
- Test system updates, new documents (notes, assessments, reports) in the system as assigned by manager
- Participates in an on-call rotation with the team to provide after-hours support, by checking and responding to tickets and answering the phone after business hours
- Attend IT team and staff meetings to provide updates, gather feedback related to the EMR
- Supports the implementation of new solutions or applications
- Provides go- live support on new updates and changes to the system
- Communicates customer feedback to Manager of Clinical Applications
- Fulfills all compliance responsibilities related to the position, including following all HIPAA guidelines when accessing, using and supporting the EMR
- Regular and consistent attendance is expected
- Other Duties as assigned
Education/ Experience:
- Associates Degree required
- 2 years Healthcare Industry experience (Hospital or Behavioral Health)
- Minimum of 1-2 years’ experience of supporting electronic medical/health records systems or equivalent.
- Experience with EHR/EMR Training or being a proctor for Trainers
- Basic IT skills preferred
- Must be able to work in fast paced environment, be detail oriented, work independently and able to handle confidential information
- Must have excellent understanding of computer systems and security and desire to advance technically and understand industry standards.

Other Work Requirements:
- This is a remote positions and expected Hours of work -Full-Time (typically 8a-5p PST, Monday-Friday, weekends as needed) with rotating on-call schedule
