Work Arrangement:
This role is categorized as hybrid. This means the successful candidate is expected to report to Warren three times per week, at minimum.
This job is not eligible for relocation benefits. Any relocation costs would be the responsibility of the selected candidate
The Role:
We are seeking a talented, innovative, and motivated Application Specialist to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in managing the Common Service Information (CSI) application from the business perspective. This involves providing the necessary support with collaboration with GM IT to ensure that CSI application is operational for the technician to view service manuals, owner manuals, bulletins, and/or labor time information.
What You’ll Do:
Single point of contact (Business Owner) for CSI application
Collaborate with GM IT for system enhancements and to resolve system issues for the CSI application
Investigate, document, and triage user issues and new enhancement requests into backlog
Lead biweekly Business and GM IT meetings for collaboration and prioritization of the business driven backlog
Seeks input from internal and/or external customers to better understand user needs
Management and maintenance of application documentation & supporting materials
User ID support and management
Support all application technology updates, security updates and any policy / procedural related application requirements
Conduct thorough testing of all releases for production in pre-production environment and then validate again during production releases (typically during nights or weekends)
Attend Action Center Meetings to better understand technician needs
Collaborate with team members and GM IT using the Agile development process
Develop product line roadmap & Objectives and Key Results (OKR) and ensure alignment with Product Roadmap and OKR
Additional Description
Your Skills & Abilities (Required Qualifications)
Basic understanding of Service Information authoring process/system
Highly developed oral and written communications skills
Demonstrated analytical, problem solving, and root cause analysis skills, especially where problems are unusual and ambiguous
Very high-level interpersonal skills to work effectively with others
Bachelor of Science degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or other degree with relevant experience
What Will Give You A Competitive Edge (Preferred Qualifications)
Minimum 3 years of experience with application support, and/or related areas
Strong understanding of the Agile software development process
Basic knowledge of SQL
DFSS Certification
