Product and Application Specialist
Job Duties:
Candidate will be responsible overseeing and guiding the development and implementation of product training programs for our company using the theoretical and practical application of the specialized business knowledge in our highly technical products. Product and Application Specialist will be in a senior role in the company to advance our company's core activities with respect to developing product training programs for our customers. Candidate assists with international development and implementation of product training programs.
As Product and Application Specialist, candidate will use independent discretion and authority to develop and deliver programs that include technical Product and service skills training goals. Technical Product and service skills training is essential to our client and company relationships because these trainings ensure sales targets are achieved. Candidate will exercise wide latitude to utilize the most appropriate learning methods, just-in-time training, self-study, computer-based training simulation, and hands-on class exercises. Product and Application Specialist will also monitor the overall effectiveness of the training programs within the role as Product Application Specialist and will direct and coordinate activities involving the sales of manufactured products. Candidate will analyze sales statistics to determine sales
potential and monitor the preferences of the customers. Candidate will join our Regional Sales Managers to demonstrate products and oversee sales presentations and provide years of specialty business experience in supporting the sales of our products to our customers. Candidate will attend trade shows and courses to aid the sales process. Will collaborate with existing customers to train them on the full spectrum of available user content to ensure customer satisfaction with the product. Will also train sales personnel on the company's available products and on how to best position our products in the marketplace.
Candidate will oversee the development and execution of training programs throughout the company and as noted above will direct and coordinate the activities of others to achieve the company's overall goals.
This specific position is for Mimic Technologies, a subsidiary of Surgical Science.
Travel:
Travel: 75% to customers in U.S. and Canada for product demonstrations
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree (U.S. or foreign equivalent) in International Business
- 60 months of experience as training director or manager with medical simulation company
Salary:
Minimum $156,045.12/yr plus 1% commission on assisted sales and standard employee benefits.
