Client Services Assistant

HEWN, a dynamic and fast paced showroom catering to the interior design and architecture community is seeking a full-time, highly organized, and detail-oriented Client Services Assistant to join our team! In this role, you will be responsible for managing the inventory and circulation of material samples and textile memos, ensuring that all products are properly tracked and accounted for, working in collaboration with our expediting team to shepherd orders through the production pipeline and delivery, as well as providing excellent customer service to clients who visit the showroom.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in maintaining an accurate inventory of all material and textile samples, including replenishment
• Ensure that all samples and memos are properly labeled and tracked
• Circulate samples and memos as requested by clients and sales representatives
• Fulfill memo sample orders placed by clients and coordinate returns of memo samples
• Keep the stock room clean and organized at all times
• Provide excellent customer service to clients who visit the showroom or via the phone
• Answer phones and direct calls to appropriate parties
• Work with vendors to insure timeliness of deliverables
• Schedule and track shipping of client orders
• Special Projects as directed by ownership

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 1-2 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in a showroom or retail environment
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Strong attention to detail
• Positive can-do attitude and entrepreneurial spirit
• Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
• Ability to work independently and also as part of a dynamic team
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Proficiency in Google Suite and Notion is a plus
• Passion for design
• Knowledge of the industry and familiarity with textile products is a plus

Starting Salary: $58,500 / yearly

Schedule:

• Monday thru Friday 8:30 - 5:00 p.m.
• Occasional weekends for special projects
