Pine Gate Renewables is seeking an experienced Insurance & Risk Analyst that is excited about working in the dynamic renewable energy industry. This position reports to the Insurance & Risk Manager. You should thrive working in a fast-paced, detail oriented, and evolving environment. In this role, you will support various aspects of the organization’s insurance programs, policies, and risk management strategies. You’ll play a pivotal part in supporting internal and external stakeholders, optimizing our insurance policies and strategies, and ensuring the enterprise is well protected and positioned for financial stability.
EDUCATION AND CERTIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s Degree in Risk Management, Economics, Finance, or Business preferred.
Responsibilities:
- Support the renewal process for various insurance policies, including property, casualty, professional, financial lines, and cyber, by compiling underwriting details, verifying data, assessing quotes, and reviewing for accuracy.
- Own the insurance administration process including, but not limited to seeking releases for surety bond, reviewing and processing invoices, managing requests for certificate of insurance, ensuring accurate and timely updates of SharePoint and Policy Management systems, and updating budgets and allocations.
- Analyze data to identify trends and opportunities for cost savings in insurance programs.
- Collaborate with insurance brokers, risk advisors, and underwriters to secure optimal policy terms and coverages.
- Coordinate with insurance consultants to support project finance and claim professionals to support the loss adjustment process.
- Support review of insurance requirements and contracts.
- Stay informed about industry developments, emerging risks, and insurance market trends.
- Proactively recommend and implement improvements to insurance policies and procedures to adapt to new challenges and integrate best practices.
- Continuously look for ways to improve productivity, increase efficiencies and streamline processes.
- Perform other responsibilities as needed.
