Overview of the position
ZCM Advisory Group is seeking a Client Service professional to work closely with our relationship managers and portfolio managers to ensure the delivery of exceptional service to our clients to further expand our client base and assets under management.
The Assistant Vice President role is focused on the support and service of client relationships, as well as marketing ZCM Advisory Group’s services. This role will require working effectively as a team member but also independently. The primary responsibilities require strong communication, analytical, organization and problem solving skills.
Primary Responsibilities:
Operate
- Prepare and produce client/prospect deliverables and investment reports, as well as ensure timely, accurate and complete client records, including but not limited to:
- Monthly client investment performance reporting.
- Quarterly client invoicing.
- Client portfolio reviews and new business materials. Requests for Proposals (RFP), database updates and questionnaires.
- Client portfolio onboarding documents and agreements.
- Coordinate and communicate administration details for account openings, closings and ongoing maintenance details.
- Conduct industry and market research for presentations and internal analysis.
- Develop and maintain working knowledge of client investment policy statements and governing account agreements.
- Use judgement to identify, troubleshoot and resolve day-to-day problems.
- Coordinate portfolio trade instructions and manage cashflows in client accounts.
- Manage and respond to ad hoc requests and inquiries in a timely manner.
Innovate
- Identify service efficiency and delivery enhancements, as well as process improvements.
- Conduct business development research on new opportunities for ZCM Advisory Group.
Communicate
- Collaborate with marketing and sales representatives in promoting F/m investment products and services.
- Prepare financial market commentary for portfolio review materials.
- Develop and maintain clear and effective internal/external communications
Engage
- Participate in portfolio review calls and meetings with prospective investors and clients.
- Develop and maintain working relationships.
- Attend periodic industry and client conferences.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree.
- 5 or more years experience of financial and/or client servicing experience preferred.
- Knowledge of investment, banking, advisory products and services acquired through related work experience.
- General securities and investment industry knowledge.
- Proficient in Microsoft Suite (emphasis on Excel, Word, & PowerPoint).
- Strong attention to detail.
- Strong analytical, problem solving and organizational skills.
- Effective verbal and writing skills.
- Team player with a cooperative attitude and partnership mentality.
- Ability to work well under pressure.
Compensation is based on salary and bonus tied to overall success of the firm
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $100,000.00 - $115,000.00 per year
