SalaryIntegral member of the Department of PM&R’s revenue cycle team. Coordinate the Department’s billing activities to include both inpatient and outpatient charges. Assure billing information submitted by physicians is provided on a timely basis, is appropriate and complete. Maintain constant audit of missing charges. Assure charges are entered in an accurate and timely manner. Provide education to physicians regarding proper coding, ICD-10 codes, or internal billing processes.
High school diploma or equivalent required. 1-3 years experience in medical billing, medical coding experience preferred. Working knowledge of medical terminology. Basic skills in Microsoft Excel. Excellent organizational skills, ability to work independently.

Since this position will require the selected candidate to engage in regular contact with children in the form of care, guidance, supervision or training, you will be required to meet the requirements of the Child Protective Services Act, including the Pennsylvania State Police criminal background check, the Pennsylvania Department of Welfare child abuse criminal background clearance, and an FBI finger print based federal criminal records check. The selected candidate will not be allowed to commence working until all three (3) are completed satisfactorily.
