Core Responsibilities
- Responsibilities encompass a range of tasks such as communication and backing for operations and/or construction teams. Strong interpersonal and organizational abilities are vital due to frequent engagement with the managers, planners, supervisors, and field crews. Tasks include managing and recording job details using different systems, scheduling assignments, and creating assorted progress reports. The candidate will collaborate closely with the support group's work organizer to fulfill necessary requests (like permits, work packages, scheduling customer appointments, etc.).
- Candidate needs to have exceptional clerical and organizational abilities, encompassing proficiency in computer skills and expertise in using the Windows file-management platform as well as the Microsoft Suite (Outlook, Word).
- Additional responsibilities consist of creating requisitions and confirming receipts for Oracle requisitions related to supplies and services for Manhattan operations.
- Capability to acquire proficiency in Company work systems, including the Work Management System, Adept, Oracle, STAR, NYC Streets, Summons Workspace, and CRMS.
- The candidate should demonstrate the capability to manage numerous tasks and adapt to shifting priorities as needed.
- Required to travel to company sites for storm restoration and heat contingencies as needed. Provide assistance during emergency situations (ICS) on both morning and night shifts.
Required Education/Experience
- High School Diploma/GED
Relevant Work Experience
- Proficient in utilizing the Windows file-management platform, along with the Microsoft Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel) is required. Required
- Familiarity with the Work Management System, Adept, Oracle, STAR, NYC Streets, Summons Workspace, and CRMS is preferred. Preferred
- Working experience with Web Workspace (STAR) is preferred. Preferred
Skills & Ability
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Demonstrated time management and priority setting skills
- Well organized, detail oriented and flexible to handle multiple assignments
- Must be proficient in Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint, etc.

Physical Demands
- Ability to push, pull, and lift up to 25 pounds
- Sit or stand to answer a phone for the duration of the workday
- Sit or stand to use a keyboard, mouse, and computer for the duration of the workday

- Ability to stoop, bend, reach, and kneel throughtout the workday
