Location: Elmhurst, NY - 11373

Shift timing: 11am-7pm MONDAY TO FRIDAY

Job Description :

Duties:

Clerical work, including filing, data entry, reception work, schedule meetings, typing and preparing correspondence, indexing, operating office equipment (fax, computer, photocopier), and other clerical functions.

50 keystrokes per minute, Microsoft Office knowledge intermediate level.

Interpersonal skills, both verbal and written. Excellent customer service skills. Performs data entry and general clerical duties.

Maintains professional demeanor. Liaisons with nurses, physicians, and staff. Ability to interact with patients all day.

Answering and directing calls

Sorting the daily mail

Maintaining filing systems, both electronic and paper

Typing correspondence and reports

Scheduling appointments and meetings

Maintaining office inventory and ordering supplies

Handling incoming and outgoing mail

Operating office equipment such as copiers and scanners

Preparing and processing onboarding paperwork for new and transferred employees

Skills:

Two years experience.

proficiency in daily tasks and they promote administrative efficiency.

Important clerical skills include: communication, organization, critical thinking, and time management.

Education:

High School Diploma/ GED; Prior medical office experience and knowledge of medical terminology preferred

Salary: $25.00 - $27.00 per hour
