Chiropractic Assistant

Essential Family Chiropractic is a Christian owned office where we play Christian music, pray for our patients, and where we empower them to take charge of their health by being proactive with a natural approach rather than a reactive one. We are passionate about educating our patients to first look to their body to improve their health, rather than their medicine cabinet. We are specifically looking for someone with an up-beat personality who is already passionate about living a healthy, holistic lifestyle themselves. Positions available averaging approximately 32 to 40 hours per week.

We want each team member to be able to work "in their strengths" so they may advance, feel successful and have joy in their part of helping to change lives, therefore once hired we will learn more about you and set you up to train in a primary position during the trial period, followed by cross training in other positions, to be versatile in the company and to open doors for advancement.

The following are the different positions we cross train internally for, depending of strengths:

1. Check-In Chiropractic Assistant Job Description and Responsibilities: Check-In CA is the “Boss of Today”. The primary focus is always patient flow, OSA (Originally Scheduled Appointments) and compliance. Check-In is always ready to receive the incoming patients, and she/he is the time-keeper for the office. Check-In CA is secondary for incoming calls and instrumental in setting the patients expectations for their appointment (i.e.: scan, report, consult, x-ray and/or exam).

2. Check-Out Chiropractic Assistant Job Description and Responsibilities: Check-Out CA is the “Boss of Tomorrow”. The primary focus is patient accounts, mapping out future appointments, collections, and building patient relationships. Check-Out CA is primarily responsible for incoming calls, financial agreements, basic insurance questions and strong closures when patient agrees to care. Check-Out CA is instrumental in working with the Check-In CA and supporting her/him, as well as being aware of office flow.

3. Tech Chiropractic Assistant Job Description and Responsibilities: Hoping giving liaison between the patient and doctors. Managing exams during adjusting shift, performing New Patient consultation/exam/x-ray, performing Progress Exams, Questionnaires, entering data into electronic health records, explaining report of findings, recommendations and financials.

4. Back Office Chiropractic Assistant Job Description and Responsibilities: diligent care plan and audit building, financial presenting, analytical stat tracking, helping with tasks behind the scenes that allow for the smooth patient experience in our office, entering data into electronic health records, explaining report of findings, recommendations and financials.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $19.00 - $20.00 per hour
