SalaryOverview:
We are seeking a part- time employee for our afternoon shifts from 3-6/6:30. Saturday availability 9am-12 is a must.
As a Chiropractic Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing administrative support and ensuring the smooth operation of our chiropractic office. If you have a passion for healthcare and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, we would love to hear from you.
Responsibilities:
- Greet patients and visitors with a warm and friendly demeanor
- Schedule appointments and manage the office calendar
- Assist with patient intake by collecting and updating medical records
- Prepare treatment rooms for patient examinations
- Provide administrative support such as answering phone calls, responding to emails, and handling paperwork
- Maintain inventory of office supplies and place orders as needed
- Process insurance claims and verify patient insurance coverage
- Collaborate with the chiropractor to ensure efficient patient flow
- Follow HIPAA guidelines to maintain patient confidentiality
Requirements:
- Previous experience in an administrative role preferred
- Familiarity with medical terminology and electronic health records systems- in person training for our specific health care record systems.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
