onsemi is looking for a Chief of Staff (CoS) to support the Chief Procurement Officer & Vice President of External Manufacturing and Operations to accelerate the company's ongoing transformation. The CoS is a highly visible and critical role within the Global Sourcing & Procurement (GS&P) and External Manufacturing Operations groups. This is a highly strategic yet facilitative position that requires a combination of focus, agility, critical thinking, and breadth of ownership. Requirements will vary as the team executes its mission, and a successful candidate will have leadership experience in procurement, operations, supply chain or program management to rapidly execute priorities within the organization. Effective teamwork, cross-functional alignment, analytical & collaborative mindset and strong communication skills are required to excel in this role.
The ideal candidate will have an interdisciplinary knowledge of sourcing strategies, workflow, governance, semiconductor market, and preferably foundry & subcon management. This strong candidate will work closely with CPO to drive our strategic deliverables, ensure alignment among the group's staff and functions, work with cross functional teams on strategic projects such as digital transformation, supply resilience and cost deep dives, deliver C-Suite level communications, and support organizational execution. Ability to gain trust and develop executive-level relationships while partnering with key stakeholders is essential to being successful in this position.
Responsibilities include the following:
• Assume responsibility as the single point of contact for cross-functional initiatives within the organization
• Drive alignment and action across functional groups such as direct/ indirect strategic sourcing, site procurement, external manufacturing & sourcing, corporate services, CAPEX to drive successful initiatives
• Lead the annual Global Sourcing & External Manufacturing Planning cycle
• Define and maintain organizational goals
• Prepare and lead staff meetings, offsite agendas, and own strategic and cross-functional projects
• Coordinate preparation of quarterly business reviews
• Plan and coordinate employee communications
• Work with Digital Sourcing & Transformation team on Change Management communications
Qualifications:
Qualifications
• Bachelor's Degree in relevant field, Master's Degree preferred, MBA Helpful
• 10+ years' experience in either Sourcing, Operations, Manufacturing or Project Management
• Strong knowledge of the semiconductor industry including an understanding of Procurement and Quality are a plus.
• Superior organizational and project/time management skills, with a keen ability to juggle multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and communications skills, including the ability to challenge, influence or present to large groups.
• Requires the agility and range to lead across multiple functions in the organization, influencing outcomes and agendas
• Understands, prioritizes, and recommends sequencing of activities to optimize the effectiveness of operations, strategic programs

onsemi is excited to share the base salary range for this position is $159,735.00-$287,385.00 exclusive of fringe benefits or potential bonuses. The final pay rate for the successful candidate will depend on geographic location, skills, education, experience, and/or consideration of internal equity of our current team members.
