As the Chief of Staff, you will support the CEO in driving results, building culture, and achieving the vision of the organization. You will do this by advancing the CEO's vision in all parts of the organization and collaborating with division/department leaders to ensure alignment to strategic goals. The Chief of Staff is a champion of the IE mission and strategic plan.
The Chief of Staff position is expected to report to a Palm Beach, FL. office.
Success for this position will include execution of the strategic plan goals to results while implementing continuous improvement strategies for the executive leadership team.
Experience/Education
- Minimum 10 years of business experience including finance, operations, strategy, and leading cross-functional projects in a fast-paced environment.
- Extensive experience with Profit & Loss budgeting
- Evidence of responsibility in holding others and self-accountable to meeting KPIs (key performance indicators) and strategic goals.
- Experience in simplifying processes, challenging the status quo, and driving results.
- Demonstrates ability to see work through from beginning to end and hold self/others accountable.
- Experience operating in a fast-paced complex environment while supporting leadership in multiple time zones.
- Certified and proven work experience with Lean and Agile methodologies.
- Experience and fluent in project management.
- Education: MBA or equivalent is preferred.

Essential Functions
Stays current on the progress toward each strategic goal as evidenced by regular and accurate updates provided to the CEO.
Stay current on the barriers and challenges divisions and departments face as they work to meet the goals as evidenced by analysis of timely resolutions and minimal loss of momentum.
Leads the Senior leadership teams (T1-T2) to ensure all work is aligned to priority initiatives using Agile methodologies and principles.
Take actions to secure company readiness for strategy execution, anticipated growth, and scale as evidenced by application of Agile/Lean methodologies for planning and execution.
Use expertise in business management to guide strategic discussions and company actions.
Support CEO in budgeting and partner with finance on forecast, actuals, and P&L financials.
Manage agendas and follow up tracking for actions specific to executive T1 meetings, communication across T-Teams as evidenced by results outcomes across the organization.
Lead and execute projects for the CEO working with the entire team to ensure success.
Act as a candid sounding board and support CEO’s thought development by identifying unintended outcomes, challenges, barriers, opportunities, and potential risks when planning.
Support the CEO in key decisions through data, analysis, and clear presentation of facts and considerations.
Seeks ways to use AI as an effective tool for increased productivity while maintaining quality as evidenced by increasing value and production efficiencies.
Represent the CEO to internal and external customers providing a bridge for communication between the key stakeholders including their direct reports. Be visible and accessible to staff.
Assists the CEO with planning for the organization and communicates on behalf of the CEO in an official capacity.
Act as trusted advisor to the CEO with focus on outcomes and with confidentiality of thought partnership.
- This is a full-time position. Business hours are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5 p.m. (EST). Longer hours, evenings and weekend work will be necessary frequently.
Work Location
- It is expected that the Chief Executive Officer will be expected to be located in the West Palm Beach area and be able to work from a Palm Beach Office.
