Job description

Invigorate Finance (“Invigorate”) a member of the Fay Group of companies is a residential and business purpose closed mortgage loan conduit aggregator and Asset Manager.

The Correspondent Channel: We enter into contractual relationships with lenders to originate loans to our specifications and purchase closed loans meeting our underwriting guidelines from eligible correspondent lenders. Invigorate has both delegated and non-delegated correspondent channels.

The Asset Management Channel:  Generally, we engage with industry participants in joint ventures, structured finance transactions, due diligence engagements, servicing oversight, and other asset management-related focused transactions. We are also a rating agency-approved Third Party Review “TPR” Firm for AAA-rated securitization.

The COO/ Chief of Staff is responsible for planning and managing administrative, financial, and operational activities on behalf of the President of the company.

What you will do for Invigorate Finance:

  • Through effective management and counter-party/contract negotiation work to enhance profitability
  • Establish performance-based goals that correlate to near, mid, and long-term objectives; coach for  results, and  work to remove impediments
  • Execute the strategic operating plan. Identify current and future human capital needs and plan efficiently and effectively for the timing of entry and compensation structures
  • Optimize and improve current operational and systemic processes and procedures, as well as establish new procedures, where applicable
  • Monitor performance reporting systems. Ensure  priorities are clear and effective coordination of time and resources
  • Ensure business adherence to established processes and procedures, and where applicable, compliance with applicable regulations, licensing, etc
  • Maintain a high-performance culture through effective people management and development and foster additional growth through team building and collaboration.
  • Must have strong interpersonal skills. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Proficiency in presenting to clients at all levels, as well as executive management and various counter-parties
  • Exemplify effective time/resource management and performance/project-based discipline
  • Maintain composure and deliver expected outcomes under tight budgets and deadlines
  • Navigate the organization, and first understand the breadth of the affiliate relationships which can enhance revenue opportunities

What you will bring to Invigorate Finance:

  • Business-related bachelor’s degree required, master’s degree preferred
  • 15+ years of experience and senior leadership roles in residential and business purpose correspondent and asset management businesses
  • Knowledge of both residential and business purpose mortgage
  • Correspondent experience a plus
  • Mortgage loan Servicing experience a plus
  • Due diligence experience is a plus
  • Demonstrated strategy implementation and tactical planning
  • Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint) and ability to learn new technology platforms and applications, as well as oversee rollouts and upgrades.
  • Proficiency with database tools and ability to analyze and report performance data (e.g., financial, productivity, quality)
  • Communication – grammatical, persuasive, and engaging verbal and written communication, deliver impactful presentations, listen to understand and clarify before responding
  • Conflict Management – the ability to diffuse conflict and find common ground, work effectively among all leadership and communication styles, factual and mission-oriented
  • Ethics – honest, accountable, maintain confidentiality
  • Interpersonal Skills – build strong relationships/partnerships, flexible/adaptable, solicit feedback
