The Chief of Staff is result driven and responsible for managing all hands-on operational aspects of the Organization. Assists CEO in the strategic plan and aggressive and successful growth of the Organization. Through a respectful, constructive and energetic style, guided by the goals and objectives of the Organization, the COS is a strategic and critical thinker in coaching the Organization’s leadership to be a high performance team within all aspects of their duties.
Responsibilities:- Support of the CEO in both strategic and executive management functions to ensure the company’s goals and initiatives are met consistent with the ACC’s mission, vision and core values.
- Takes responsibility for activities when CEO is absent which includes leadership meetings when required.
- Provide department leaders with recommendations and consultation to improve teamwork across the organization.
- Promoting the vision and mission of a company to maintain morale of Staff and performance of the workforce.
- Oversee budgeting, reporting, planning, and auditing.
- Improve current processes and optimize organizational procedures for efficiency and productivity.
- Interact closely with management and employees, and identifying and communicating issues that may arise to the level of the CEO as a highly collaborative partner with the Executive Team.
- Provide recommendations and consultation to improve teamwork and effectiveness across the agency.
- Lead annual strategic planning process for the company by acting as a project manager and ensuring alignment with the CEO and leadership team.
- Collaborates with the Leadership team to develop and implement plans for the operational infrastructure of systems, processes, and personnel designed to accommodate the rapid growth objectives of the Organization.
- Represents the Organization with consumer, funders and service and resource partners.
- Establishes and ensures the execution of operating and management procedures consistent with the CEO’s philosophy and consistent with cultural beliefs of the Organization.
- Serves as signatory on ACC accounts.
- Handles executive level contracts and documents for the organization.
- Responsible for the administrative oversight and monitoring of the Organization’s continued third-party licensing and accreditations (e.g. AHCA, Non Profit First, FAA and AAA)
- Manage the office of the President & CEO, serving as the central coordinator establishing clear priorities and ensuring all critical functions are executed in a timely and professional manner.
- Work closely with the President & CEO and departmental leaders to ensure alignment of priorities, effective communication, and fulfillment of executive and organizational commitments.
- Provide regular briefings and analyses to the President & CEO on organizational progress and issues.
- Support time-sensitive requests from the Board, members, partners, and stakeholders.
- Monitor and advise the President & CEO and executive team on thought leadership opportunities related to emerging trends, process optimization, policy improvements, and strategic partnerships.
