Position Overview: As the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) of Cubework, you will play a pivotal role in driving the financial strategy and execution necessary to support our planned expansion on both global and local scales. The CFO must also excel in real estate finance, blending traditional financial management skills with specialized knowledge of the real estate market, property valuation, and investment analysis. This includes structuring financing solutions for property acquisitions, managing real estate portfolios, and navigating the complexities of commercial leases, development financing, and property sales. A deep understanding of market trends, zoning laws, and the economic factors influencing real estate investments is crucial. The CFO's expertise in real estate finance is vital for companies involved in property development, investment, or management, ensuring strategic decision-making that maximizes property value and returns while mitigating financial risks. Reporting directly to the CEO & CCO, you will be responsible for overseeing all financial activities, including financial planning and analysis, budget management, accounting, treasury, and risk management. The ideal candidate will possess a strong blend of financial expertise, strategic vision, and leadership skills to guide Cubework through its next phase of growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Financial Strategy: Develop and implement a comprehensive financial strategy, aligning it with long term business goals, especially specific to real estate ventures.
- Provide leadership in financial decision-making that affects the company, ensuring strategies are in place for financial stability and growth.
- Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A): Lead the FP&A function to provide timely and accurate financial insights, forecasts, and reporting to support decision-making processes.
- Conduct thorough financial analysis and valuation of potential real estate investments, including market research, due diligence, and risk assessment.
- Oversee the financial structuring of property acquisitions, disposals, and developments to optimize investment returns and cash flow.
- Budget Management: Oversee the budgeting process, ensuring alignment with strategic goals and efficient allocation of resources across all business units and initiatives.
- Accounting and Reporting: Manage all accounting functions, including financial reporting, compliance, and internal controls, to maintain accurate and transparent financial records.
- Treasury Management: Optimize cash flow management, liquidity, and capital structure to support operational needs and strategic investments.
- Risk Management: Identify, assess, and mitigate financial risks through effective risk management practices and internal controls.
- Financial Performance: Monitor and analyze financial performance metrics, KPIs, and key drivers to track progress against targets and drive continuous improvement.
- Investor Relations: Serve as a key liaison with investors, analysts, and other stakeholders to communicate financial performance, strategy, and opportunities for value creation.
- M&A and Strategic Partnerships: Evaluate potential M&A opportunities, strategic partnerships, and capital-raising initiatives to support Cubework's growth objectives.
- Leadership and Team Development: Provide strong leadership and mentorship to the finance team, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and professional development.

- Growth Planning: Develop plans for growth to increase company profit while also reducing expenditure, leveraging financial expertise to identify opportunities for optimization.
- Investment Management: Identify investment opportunities and manage mergers and acquisitions to support strategic objectives and enhance shareholder value.
- Assisting the CCO: Collaborate with the CEO to develop financial plans and strategies that drive sustainable growth and profitability.
- Managing Accounting Procedures: Oversee accounting procedures, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and adherence to regulatory standards.
- Data Analysis and Modeling: Analyze data and create models based on the analysis to support decision-making processes and drive performance improvements.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field; MBA or CPA preferred.
- Proven track record of success in senior finance roles, preferably within the real estate or logistics sectors.
- Strong financial acumen and analytical skills, with the ability to translate complex financial data into actionable insights and strategic recommendations.
- Experience in financial planning and analysis, budgeting, accounting, and treasury management.

Pay: $180,000.00 - $220,000.00 per year
