Job description

Are you ready to take the helm in shaping the future of tactical autonomy, standing shoulder-to-shoulder with trailblazers who are turning cutting-edge dreams into tangible reality? As a leader of the growing EpiSci team, your influence will be immediate and transformative as we propel towards a future where security and autonomy unite in unprecedented ways.
EpiSci isn't just another company; we're forging ahead with next-gen tactical mission autonomy technologies that span both defense, and commercial domains. At our core, we wield the latest advancements in artificial intelligence, autonomy algorithms, wireless communications, and digital signal processing to surmount the most formidable national security challenges. Our Tactical AI offers robustness, dependability, and a rapid adaptability that thrives on the frontlines of emerging missions and obstacles. Our AI increases human capability in aircraft like the F-22 and F-16; it’s revolutionizing wireless tactical communication systems, and filling the skies with swarms of autonomous UAVs supercharged by sensor fusion.
We are seeking a dynamic and hands-on Chief Financial Officer to work with the leadership team to build EpiSci into an enduring institution while simultaneously achieving the company’s long-term strategic vision and objectives. The position requires strong leadership and communication skills as well as the ability to translate strategic objectives into financial forecasts, metrics, and actionable plans. This includes gaining a fundamental understanding of our culture, capabilities, business model, key business pursuits, key program execution activities, and financial processing systems. A successful candidate will be a strategic, collaborative, and innovative business partner, who provides a broad perspective while bringing a passion for detail using financial forecasting models (e.g., “detail oriented”) to make data-driven decisions in a rapidly growing company.
We understand and cherish the richness that diverse perspectives and backgrounds bring to the table. At EpiSci, we wholeheartedly invite every exceptional individual, regardless of their journey, to join our ranks and become a driving force behind the secure and autonomous world of tomorrow. Your future at EpiSci awaits—ignite your potential and let's redefine what's possible, together.
Don't meet every single requirement? At EpiSci, we're committed to building a diverse, inclusive, and authentic workforce, so if you're excited about this role but your previous experience doesn't align perfectly with every qualification, we encourage you to apply anyway! You may be the perfect candidate for this or another role at EpiSci.
