Job Description
Executive Energy Management is in search of a Chief Financial Officer (CFO). The CFO is responsible for establishing the policies, processes and procedures for the operational accounting, planning, budgeting and reporting for the company and its related brands. The CFO is also responsible for the overall accounting controls of the company, ensuring compliance with GAAP accounting and providing for a timely and accurate financial reporting process, and an efficient external audit each year. The CFO will have a day-to-day, ongoing impact on company operations, helping us to analyze, strategize, and grow our financial position. The CFO will report to the Chief Executive Officer.

- Planning and Budgeting
- Financial Reporting and Analysis
- Accounting Software System maintenance
- Audits and Controls
- Tax planning and preparation
- General Management of accounting staff
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree; CPA preferred.
- 7-10+ years of experience in accounting & finance as a CFO/Controller.
- Call center / Outsourcing experience is preferred.
- Experience with GAAP accounting and overseeing annual audit procedures.
- Experience closing the books for multiple entities on strict monthly reporting deadlines.
- Proficiency in QuickBooks and other accounting software
- Experience managing a team of finance and accounting personnel.
- Experience interacting with C-level and VP-level executives and integrating closely with operations, sales and business development as a partner.
- Proficiency in MS office products (Excel, PowerPoint).
- Must have strong analytical, presentation, interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to think outside the box, highly driven, hungry for a challenge and self-motivated.
Remote work may be considered depending on candidate qualifications and company needs. Remote work not available for CA, NJ, NY. Other states will be considered on a case by case basis.
